Alignment Guide

When placing model elements on the diagram, an alignment guide line(green dashed line) appears to assist you to place models aligned with others.

FreeHand

Now astah* allows free-hand drawing on diagram.

It can be used to circle or check models to emphasize them or draw arrows to point models during the review with team members or presentations.

FreeHand brings new ways to present the model designs on astah*.

Oval, Filled Rectangle, Corner-rounded Rectangle and Textbox

oval_rectangle_en_s New model elements, Oval, Filled Rectangle, Corner-rounded Rectangle and Textbox are added on tool bar of most diagrams editors.

Now you have more options to add something to your models other than rectangles. The form and look can be all customized the way you want such as line color, fill color, line width, line type and arrows/non-arrows.

Improvements on Combo box of Property view

Now it's faster to set up Type for models from the combo box!

  • Type first some letters of Type in Combo box you want to set for models. astah* picks up selections that match with what you typed and you can just select it to set for models.
  • Wildcard Support such as * and ?
  • 20 selections appear in the Combo box now

Now astah* allows you to add plural domains at once from [Add ER Domains] menu from Property View / Tool bar menu

 

Select ResourceEntity, Event Entity or SummaryEntity from ER Entity's dropdown list.
